This list should probably be delivered with the typical caveat that the “sticker price” doesn’t reflect the fact that scholarships and other financial aid can alter the list considerably. But still, the totals tabulated by Business Insider also don’t include textbooks, travel costs, and social expenses that can add $2,000. Rounding out the top 10 are New York University, Columbia University, Sarah Lawrence College, Dartmouth College, Claremont McKenna College, University of Southern California, and Scripps College.
