Penn State nears $26 million spent on the Jerry Sandusky scandal
- The cost of legal bills, consultants and other fees for Penn State in the Jerry Sandusky child sex abuse scandal is now almost $26 million.

- The total does not currently include the first of five $12 million payments made to cover the NCAA's $60 million fine, part of the landmark sanctions that Gov. Tom Corbett is attempting to have thrown out with his filing last week of a federal lawsuit.
