Dive Insight:
Bentley University, Boston College, MIT, and the University of Connecticut are among other schools already using uConnect. Services like this one may become more common as schools are held accountable for their graduates’ job outcomes. With the Obama administration’s College Scorecard, schools are listed with the average salaries of their graduates 10 years out as well as the student loan repayment rates. Some elected officials are champing at the bit to incorporate similar ROI calculators into accreditation reform proposals. While these proposals may take time to flesh out, it is smart for any school to get a head start in career services expansion in the meantime.
