Apple announces new iPads, maintains its momentum in education market
- Apple announced the iPad 4 and iPad Mini on Tuesday while touting the device's "tremendous momentum" in the education market.
- Apple still has an enormous lead over any rival in the education market, with its third quarter being its second consecutive quarter where the market purchased twice as many iPads as Macs, and CEO Tim Cook said in a Q3 earnings call that the rate of adoption for iPads in education is "something I’d never seen from any technology product in history."
