Canadian universities promise U.S. students an affordable alternative
- St. Clair College in Windsor and University of WIndsor are both recruiting American students by offering financial incentives.
- University of Windsor President and Vice-Chancellor Alan Wildeman says his institution will begin offering students from across the border a $5,000 tuition as a "U.S. Neighbor Fee" in September 2013, and St. Clair College Vice President John Fairley says American students attending his institution would pay a tuition of less than $7,000.
- The University of Windsor plans to launch Michigan recruitment efforts in the coming weeks, with a marketing campaign to come in 2014.
