- Cengage Learning on Thursday announced a partnership with Celebrus Technologies.
- The collaboration will give Cengage the ability to gain insight into how students and professors use its digital tools, as Celebrus' technology will provide detailed data on log-in times, most-visited pages, time spent on a page, and other behavioral factors.
- CengageNOW, Aplia, and MindTap will be the first products to receive the Celebrus upgrade.
The addition of Celebrus' analytics data will help Cengage, which came out of bankruptcy just over a month ago, as it develops new tools and enhances existing ones. Cengage is also reportedly the first major U.S. publisher to work with Celebrus, and the big data it leverages will be key to creating tech tools that improve learning outcomes and help it remain competitive in the space.
