- Following age discrimination complaints from angry faculty members nationwide, Colorado State University officials reworded a job listing Wednesday for an assistant professor in English.
- The original posting asked for candidates awarded their Ph.D. "between 2010 and time of appointment," which critics said not only discriminated against age, but limited opportunities for adjuncts who earned doctorates before 2010 and faced a poor job market.
- The revision merely states that the job is "entry-level."
