Knight Center launches data-driven journalism MOOC
- The Knight Center for Journalism in the Americas is launching a new English-language MOOC, "Data-Driven Journalism: The Basics."
- Unlike the Knight Center's previous MOOCs, this one is taught by a team of five experts from The New York Times, ProPublica, NPR and the Houston Chronicle.
- Running from Aug. 12 to Sep. 16, the course will feature a different instructor covering a different topic each week, beginning with an intro to data-driven journalism and concluding with how to bring data to life.
