- McGraw-Hill Education, which currently does not have a permanent presence in Boston, announced that it plans to open up a new office in the city by the end of 2013.
- The focus of the new operation, which will be located in the Boston's Innovation District, will be on developing new technologies along the lines of the e-book, learning software and 3D multiplayer learning games offerings that McGraw-Hill already has under its belt.
- The company maintains similar offices in Bothell, Wash.; New York; Columbus, Ohio; San Francisco; and Israel.
