Supply chain management, like higher education, is an industry likely to be transformed by technology and changing business practices. These changes will require stronger, adaptive leaders who will be able to foresee and to capitalize upon new strategies for how companies will require goods and services to be produced.
For higher education leaders, the listing accentuates the point for degree programs to be accessible and supportive of strong industries, and demands connections between corporate and academic hubs to ensure that a talented and knowledgeable workforce is being produced.
