Northern Kentucky accuses ex-AD of stealing school funds for personal use
- Northern Kentucky University says its former athletic director, Scott Eaton, took between $100,000 and $150,000 in school funds for personal use over an eight year period.
- Eaton served as the school's athletic director since mid-2009 and was leading the school's expansion into NCAA Division I athletics before being fired March 16 for intimate relationships with four university employees, including two women reporting directly to him and one adult student.
- The university also revealed Tuesday that it had contacted federal prosecutors and Kentucky Attorney General Jack Conway regarding the financial wrongdoing.
