Open-learning expert Candace Thille to teach at Stanford
- Open-learning expert Candace Thille will move from Carnegie Mellon University to Stanford University in September.
- Thille has served as director of Carnegie Mellon's Open Learning Initiative since it began in 2002, and the program's grants and researchers will now be divided between both institutions.
- At Stanford, she will be an assistant professor of education in the Graduate School of Education, and will also help develop better online teaching and learning material.
