Kansas' Board of Regents on Thursday approved July salary hikes for the states' public universities, but individual foundations will have to make up the differences at the institutions, which include the University of Kansas and Kansas State University.
The biggest beneficiaries from the decision will be Kansas State University President Kirk Schulz and University of Kansas Chancellor Bernadette Gray-Little, who will each see $60,000 more from the pay adjustments, The Kansas City Star reports.
Gray-Little will see a total salary of $493,000 after the increase. So she still won't be making E. Gordon Gee dollars, but it sounds like she should be in good shape.
