Six electric car charging stations installed at University of Michigan
- The University of Michigan now has six charging stations for electric cars where anyone with a U-M permit can park for up to four hours for free, regardless of the permit grade.
- U-M's stations add to the number of public charging stations in Ann Arbor, where 18 charging stations were installed at six public parking locations this summer.
- The school's charging stations can be found in three locations: the Hoover and Greene street parking lot, the Ann Street parking structure near the school's medical campus and the Murfin Street lot.
