- Stanford University's engineering, medical and business schools have each named associate deans for online learning, just weeks after the school established its Office of the Vice Provost for Online Learning.
- Bernd Girod, a professor of electrical engineering, will take on the role for the School of Engineering, while Charles Prober, senior associate dean for medical education, will lead online programs for the School of Medicine.
- Peter DeMarzo, senior associate dean for academic affairs, will take over online endeavors for the Graduate School of Business, and oversee its new Real-Time Analysis and Investment Lab.
