SUNY Cortland launches N.Y. Master Teacher Program
- SUNY Cortland will serve as the hub for New York's Master Teacher Program, announced by Governor Andrew Cuomo earlier this week.
- The program will offer $15,000 to high-performing math and science teachers every year for four years if they stay in New York and mentor new and future teachers.
- SUNY Cortland has the state's largest accredited teacher-education program, and the application process to become a master teacher begins July 1.
