- Harvard University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology have welcomed the University of California, Berkeley, to their online venture edX, the schools announced Tuesday.
- BerkeleyX will contribute two courses, "Artificial Intelligence” and “Software as a Service,” this fall.
- "We share the vision of MIT and Harvard leadership and believe that collaborating with the not-for-profit model of edX is the best way to do this," Robert J. Birgeneau, chancellor of UC Berkeley, said in a press release.
