Video education startup PopExpert raises $2M in seed funding
- PopExpert, an online video education marketplace aimed at letting students learn from experts in one-on-one video chats, raised $2 million in seed funding from Learn Capital and Expansion VC.
- The site's experts are spread across a range of fields encompassing "life, work, and play," allowing lifelong learners to search for and receive one-to-one instruction in everything from career mentoring and language to nutrition and meditation.
- Prices vary by teacher and lesson, and PopExpert earns revenue via a small service fee charged for each transaction.
