Omnigo’s 360° Stay Safe online safety training platform expands offerings to proactively prevent dangerous incidents on higher education campuses and beyond
St. Louis, Mo., July 31, 2018 – Omnigo Software, a leading provider of public safety, incident and security management solutions for law enforcement, education, healthcare and other enterprise markets, announced today the unveiling of a new, robust Safe Travel module as a part of their expanding 360° Stay Safe “Building Community” program. The program is an online training platform that provides a comprehensive source of personal safety information for students, faculty and staff within higher education through 14 unique modules, all focused on improving the safety and compliance of college campuses.
The new Safe Travel module offers an in-depth video that educates users on how to evaluate a situation and proactively plan for potential dangers, particularly those that arise when traveling internationally for the first time. The course includes three subsections: what to prepare for before you leave, precautions to take as you begin your travels, and helpful step-by-step actions on what to do in the state of an emergency while traveling. The subsections are followed by a brief quiz that tests users’ retention of the valuable information.
“We are proud to introduce the latest Safe Travel module to our 360° Stay Safe ‘Building Community’ training,” said Bobby Robertson, CEO of Omnigo Software. “This new training module allows us to provide educational institutions nationwide with an even more comprehensive public safety, incident and security management solution that will assist students, staff and faculty beyond their campus borders.”
The 360° Stay Safe high-quality, web-based safety and compliance training platform helps customers create a safe and strong campus community where students and faculty proactively take care of themselves, look out for one another, and make smart choices. Its extensive video-based trainings cover critical topics, including active intruder, forming healthy relationships, sexual assault, drug and alcohol awareness, discrimination, and personal safety, with more modules set for release later this year.
Omnigo acquired 360° Stay Safe earlier this year, expanding its higher education training expertise and expanding its public safety management solutions portfolio.
