The conference features:
Buck Institute’s signature three-day immersive workshops based on Gold Standard PBL and designed to prepare participants to implement and build upon Project Based Learning initiatives in their schools and districts
Two pre-conference options: a Project Slice in which participants engage as learners in a project that models the features of the PBL process, and a brand new PBL+ series of workshops for experienced PBL educators interested in exploring the intersections between PBL and a specific discipline or school/district initiative.
Networking with like-minded educators from across the country and around the world
Keynotes from thought-provoking educators and student speakers
“We believe in the transformative power of Project Based Learning,” said Bob Lenz, executive director for the Buck Institute for Education. “PBL World is a fantastic opportunity to meet and connect with more than a thousand educators from all over the country and beyond, and gain valuable insight into both starting PBL at a school or district and taking a PBL initiative to the next level.”
