Chicago, Il - November 11, 2020 – The DePaul University Career Center has successfully partnered with Yellowdig to enhance the curriculum for their Future Forward program.
The Future Forward initiative is aimed at helping new first-year students create a career roadmap that can guide them effectively through their time in college and into a profession they love.
“We found that students often don’t have a clear idea of how their classes relate to a career in their respective fields. Future Forward helps students learn about themselves, identify values and skills, explore different career paths and create a strategy.” – Karyn McCoy (Assistant VP, Career Center)
Since its launch in early September, the Career Center has been very happy with the results they have had with remote interaction between students and instructors on the Yellowdig platform.
“I’ve taught online since 2004 and I have never seen this kind of authenticity in the way students interact with each other. The buy-in was immediate, and continued engagement has been outstanding.” – Margaret McGee-Newton (Director, Career Education)
Yellowdig hopes to expand its partnership with DePaul into more courses throughout 2020.
