- Hoppes previously served as dean of undergraduate programs for Golden Gate University's Ageno School of Business.
- She will head the company’s instructional design services, developing learning assessments and researching student success trends.

Helix also stated in a press release that Hoppes will provide thought leadership in post-traditional, online and competency-based education models. In addition to adding the chief academic officer position, the company hired a new general counsel, T.J. Crowson, the former associate general counsel at Pearson. Helix helps colleges and universities market to and retain students, along with providing cloud-based learning platforms.
